This space was born out of a simple need to express myself. I’ve always been interested in the internet — as a kid I used to make pages on Blogspot and Tumblr, and I even caught the MySpace era hahah... different times.
The other thing is that I write from a place of genuine excitement... just the hope of sharing whatever is spinning around in my head with you.
I guess it’s a space about identity. So, I invite you to hop on this little digital boat with me... and let's just float toward new horizons!"
Honestly, and being completely realistic, I had wanted to make a website for a long time. And so far, Neocities captures exactly the kind of aesthetic I’ve always been drawn to: more personal websites, more human ones, less obsessed with looking corporate or overly polished.
After spending a long time working, reading, and thinking through many things on my own, I also started feeling the need for something more collective. To talk with people, exchange ideas, discover projects, and share different perspectives on culture, music, images, the internet, or simply the way we are living through this era.
This space comes from that feeling, in a way. From the desire to build something personal, but also to connect with creative and curious people who resonate with these things. Not really as a showcase, but more as a living space where conversations, research, collaborations, or unexpected projects might eventually emerge :B
I'm completely open to contributing to any related collaboration—whether that’s in research, academia, publishing, arts, music, you name it. I absolutely love this niche, and I feel like it’s really up to us to lift it up. To boost it, expand its reach, and get the message out there, you know?
